Happy 2014 Nerd World! Welcome back to The Last Cast on Earth podcast with Episode #25. The cast had a much needed break for the holidays, and we are back and excited to discuss all the cool happenings in the Geek Universe. Plus, Christmas loot!

Over the holidays Matt swooned for the Doctor, and creates a new Christmas holiday tradition with the Doctor Who Christmas special The Time of the Doctor.

We check in with Nerd News: The word of the year for 2013? Because. Why? Because words. Plus, what Richie calls: "Wrestle Mania for Geeks", a debate between Bill Nye, the "Science Guy", and Ken Ham, co-founder of the Creation Museum. We dig deep and find the first bits of information on the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, are you ready to find out what The Turtles might look like? News finishes up with the Wired.com list of Best Games of 2013.

For our first podcast game of 2014, and to celebrate this cold weather (Arctic Vortex?) The Last Cast plays a truly Wintery Game.
